Single-Use Battery Recycling Paused

Effective June 2, 2025

Montgomery Township has paused single-use battery recycling effective immediately due to changes from our vendor, Cirba Solutions. Their shipping partner is no longer able to transport batteries for recycling.
Cirba is working on updated solutions, and we’ll share more information as it becomes available. Thank you for your understanding.

In the meantime, single-use batteries may be recycled at:
  • Staples (no charge)
  • Home Depot (no charge)
  • Batteries + Bulbs ($2 per pound)
