Update 5/22/24 -
We're making great progress on our new inclusive and accessible playground at Fellowship Park, thanks to the collaborative work of our Public Works Department, Couzins, Inc., and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources! Here are some great features you can look forward to:
  • Sway Fun Glider: Accessible for all children, including those using wheelchairs.
  • Interactive Sensory Panels: Engaging tactile and visual elements.
  • Spring Riders and Climbers: Fun for kids with various physical and sensory needs.
  • Tunnel and Dome Climbers: Perfect for exploration and sensory play.
Next step: Installing the safety surfacing to ensure a secure play environment. Stay tuned for more updates!

Fellowship Park is being built with accessibility and inclusion for all residents of Montgomery Township and beyond in mind.

This project is made possible by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). The project is anticipated to begin construction in Spring 2023.
