The work is taking place for approximately eight weeks with an estimated completion date of August 16. This water main work is being completed in coordination with the North Penn School District to prevent impacting school operations. 

Crews will be working in the area from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic control will be in effect during main installation, and there may be lane restrictions in effect on Knapp Road for brief periods of time during the construction period. Emergency vehicles will have access to the area, and to the fullest extent possible, every effort will be made to keep open access to local residents. Once installed, the main will be flushed, sampled and then placed into service.
