Northern Montgomery County Recycling Comission    
Montgomery Township is a charter member of the Northern Montgomery County Recycling Commission (NMCRC), a group of 11 municipalities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania that work together to increase recycling and to promote recycling awareness and education.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program
Montgomery County hosts a Household Hazardous Waste collection program several times a year for items such as oil based paint  and paint cans, fluorescent tubes, motor oil, and swimming pool chemicals.
For more information please call Montgomery County at 610-278-3618.  Collections are from 9am to 3pm.  Dates and locations of Household Hazardous Waste Collection events are available on NMCRC's website and Montgomery County's website.
 

Recycling @ Montgomery Township! 

 

Brand new recycling bins have been placed at the William F. Maule Park @ Windlestrae.  Please take the time to recycle and utilize existing bins at Spring Valley Park.

 

You can now recycle plastics #1 - 7 and plastic bags curbside - Blue Mountain recycling, which processes recyclables from every hauler in Montgomery Township, now accepts plastics #1 through 7 and plastic bags in their regular curbside recycling.

 

Using CFL Bulbs?  As a reminder - you can recycle the twisty CFL bulbs in recycling bins at the Township Building and at retailers like Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy and Ikea.
