The Montgomery Township Police Department would like to congratulate our Canine Unit for placing second overall as a team at the United States Police Canine Association Region 6 Police Dog-1 Field Trials this weekend!
The participating teams were judged in agility, obedience, scent work, article search and apprehension work. Great job to everyone who participated!
Individual Awards
Officer McGuigan and Canine Cody earned their USPCA PD-1 Certification, 3rd place overall, and 3rd place in apprehension work.
Officer Rose and Canine Odin earned their USPCA PD-1 Certification, 1st place in scent work, 2nd place in agility, and 3rd place in obedience.
Officer Schreiber and Canine Cooper earned their USPCA PD-1 Certification and 2nd place overall.
Officer Woch and Canine Major earned their USPCA PD-1 Certification.
