What is America Recycles Day?

America Recycles Day, part of the "Keep America Beautiful" organization, is dedicated to increasing awareness about recycling and how it can help save our environment.

 

What will happen on America Recycles Day?

On Tuesday, November 15th, people around the country will take the "I recycle pledge", agreeing to learn about recycling options in their communities and finding out what materials are collected for recycling. They also agree to reduce personal waste by recycling more - even recycling one new type of material. It adds up!
