Event Description:
2022 Leaf & Yard Waste Collection
Montgomery Township has both monthly leaf & yard waste
drop-off collection and two curbside pick-up collections annually
for Township Residents. SORRY- NO GRASS CLIPPINGS!
Leaf waste is defined as leaves, garden residues shrubbery
and tree trimmings, and similar material, but does not include
grass clippings.
Yard waste is defined as twigs, shrub trimmings, small branches, and like vegetative
matter.
ALL MATERIALS FOR BOTH THE DROP-OFF AND THE CURBSIDE
PICK-UP- MUST BE PLACED IN BROWN PAPER BIODEGRADABLE LEAF
BAGS. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Leaf & Yard Waste Curbside Pick-up: There are two curbside pick-ups, one in the
spring and one in the fall. Please have all of the leaf & yard waste placed in paper biodegradable
leaf bags and out by the curb on the night before the pick-up.
• FALL CURBSIDE DATE: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2022
Please have all of the leaf & yard waste placed in paper biodegradable leaf bags and out by the
curb on the night before the pick-up. If the yard waste is not in a paper biodegradable bag, or
does not fit in your paper biodegradable bag, we cannot take it.
Leaf & Yard Waste Monthly Drop-Off Collection: Held every month, usually on the third
Saturday of the month. The collection takes place at the William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae
off Kenas Road from 8AM-Noon. Drop-offs are prohibited outside of this collection.
