Event Description:

Montgomery Township will be hosting a special Halloween Drive-thru event on Saturday, October 31 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae located at 1147 Kenas Road, North Wales, PA 19454.

Montgomery Township is encouraging residents to come out and enjoy family-friendly Halloween and fall displays in the Township’s most well-known park, William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae. The annual Autumn Festival event is held at this same park every October, but was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety concerns.

The Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors, Police Department, Department of Fire Services, Public Works Department, and Administrative Staff will have fun vehicle and table displays with giveaways for each car that comes through (while supplies last).

“Given the ongoing pandemic, we appreciate that some families may be understandably reluctant to have their children participate in traditional trick-or-treating activities. It’s the hope of the board and staff that this drive through event will provide a safe, fun alternative for celebrating Halloween,” said Chairwoman of the Board of Supervisors, Tanya Bamford.

This will be the Township’s second “drive-thru” event since COVID-19 precautions went into effect. On Monday, October 5, the Department of Fire Services hosted a successful Emergency Services Night Drive-thru event to kick-off Fire Prevention Month.
