The Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Community & Recreation Center located at 1030 Horsham Road. The day's events include the reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation, the presentation of the 2017 Tree City USA Certification, and the distribution of 300 free native shade and ornamental trees to Montgomery Township residents. One tree per household will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Township staff, landscape architect, and several volunteers will be on hand to provide tree selection, care, and maintenance advise to residents.
