Detectives
Detectives provide investigative services to the Police Department. They provide members of the Patrol Division with technical assistance during various investigations.
Detectives process crime scenes in order to recover evidence and to assist in developing leads necessary to solve crimes.
Additionally, detectives maintain close working relationships with other investigatory agencies on all levels of law enforcement.
Juvenile Officers
Juvenile Officers provide support service to the Police Department and community with their technical expertise in dealing with the youthful offenders and/or victims.
Juvenile Officers assist detectives and patrol officers investigating crimes involving juveniles.
More importantly, these officers are instrumental in providing “at-risk” juveniles (and their families) alternatives to becoming involved in the Juvenile Justice or Criminal Justice Systems.
