Montgomery Township requires that all transfers of real estate within the township register the deed at the Business Tax Office prior to its recording with the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds Office. A Real Estate Deed Registration Form shall be completed and submitted to the township with the original deed and registration fee. Generally, this process will be handled by the title company.
