Dear Montgomery Township Taxpayers:
Hours for tax collection and receipting of tax payments will be:
April 2, 16, 26 and 30- 9 am to 12 noon at Sovereign Bank (1224 Welsh Road (Assi Plaza).
April 9, 19 and 23 - 9 am to Noon and April 23 and 30 - 6 pm to 8 pm at Montgomery Township Building 1001 Stump Road.
If this is inconvenient, an appointment can be made by calling my office. If anything other than a tax receipt is needed, please call my office ahead of time so the necessary documents, etc. can be brought for you.
Tax payments as well as requests for tax certifications may be placed in a sealed envelope and dropped into a locked box inside either Sovereign Bank (1224 Welsh Road - Assi Plaza) , Abington Bank (521 Stump Road) or the Montgomery Township building (1001 Stump Road) at any time during Sovereign's, Abington's or Montgomery Township's normal business hours.
Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope and a receipt will be mailed to you. No cash payments are accepted in the locked boxes. Cash payments must be made in person. You can set up an appointment if necessary by calling my office at 215-996-9999.
The tax office will be closed the week of March 16th.
