Finance Department General Information

The Finance Department is responsible for:

• Maintaining Township financial records in conformance with Fund Accounting principles
• Issuance of the Treasurer's Report
• The Annual Budget
• Payroll and Benefits
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Inventory
• Administration of the Township's Police and Non-Uniform Employees' Pension Plans

Montgomery Township recently enacted an Earned Income Tax which will become effective January 1, 2003. Please see the Earned Income Tax section of our website for further details.
