The mission of the Montgomery Township Police Department is to achieve and maintain a highly professional organization that affirmatively promotes, preserves and delivers a feeling of security, safety and quality services to members of the residential, commercial, and industrial community.In 2004, the Montgomery Township Police Department became the 22nd law enforcement agency to receive accreditation from the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC). In 2007, the Department was re-certified and found to be in continued compliance with the Commission's accreditation standards.
